Still student in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico in Milano, he started working as software developer for the videogame and system integration industry.
Once terminated  his academic path, he began his professional career as freelance, coordinating development groups involved in different software development areas as videogames, laboratory automation, electronic documents archiving...
He then moved into the beverage industry holding growing responsibilities in IT areas.
In 2001 he joined OM Carrelli Elevatori S.p.A. (a KION Group company) as IT Systems Manager.
In 2008 he took over the role of Chief Security Officer in the Group Holding.
Since October 2014 he is Director Global IT Infrastructure and Security in Burckhardt Compression AG, a worldwide compressor producer focused on oil camp and ship installations.

He lives in Winterthur, Switzerland. His main passion is IT (a passion shared with his wife). He likes spendimg his time together with friends talking and sharing good food and wine and visiting towns and islands in Europe.
