Developer enablement isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s the backbone of delivering software at scale. The Golden Path, a curated toolchain, provides developers with the right tools and best practices for every step of the software development lifecycle, ensuring security (DevSecOps), quality, and efficiency without stifling flexibility. Built alongside project called Backstage, the internal developer portal streamlining workflows, making it easy for application teams to set up CI/CD pipelines, publish infrastructure, and share proven solutions across hundreds of teams. This approach minimizes duplicate work, reduces onboarding time, and helps teams avoid common mistakes by reusing pipelines and templates that already work in production. With dedicated enablement teams, it is ensured that every tool and process fit the team’s maturity level and real needs, while still moving toward a standardized, scalable ecosystem. And as AI becomes part of the equation, the Golden Path will evolve to harness automation and insights on an entirely new scale.
The talk will highlight:

Pop in My Job: "What drives me is seeing how the right tools and practices can transform the developer experience: turning complex, fragmented workflows into something simple, intuitive, and empowering. I’m motivated by creating an environment where developers spend less time fighting friction and more time building great solutions that move Volvo, and society, forward."
